Craigslist is notorious for having a large and international user-base despite having an awfully strict and rigid utilitarian design. Having no mobile presence, I felt that this could be a perfect design exploration. Trying to elevate the brand and the product while keeping it in the same spirit.
Keeping it simple
We wanted the main task on mobile to be searching. Either through the search bar, either through tags or by simply drilling down through the categories.
A breath of fresh air
Another goal was giving the brand a little bit of a refresh, but not overcomplicating it. By using just a type and pairing it with a fresh and modern blue colour we achieved a slight refresh.
